As an artist, Megan thrives in a state of curiosity and color and it is clearly reflected in her work. She is inspired by the natural world and the field of biology as well as artists such as Henri Matisse Claire Desjardins. Megan enjoys nature and biology, it’s never ending questions and the study of the world around us. These interests are continually seeping into her art work as she hopes to portray joyful, whimsical glimpses into the natural world. She intends to draw the viewer in and encourage curiosity as well as challenge one’s perspectives and assumptions.
